Italian Chef – Oslo, Norway
We are currently looking for an experienced Chef to join a well-established Italian restaurant in Oslo.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start and the possibility of continuing in a long-term role after the initial contract period.
💰 What we offer
Competitive salary: 250–260 NOK/hour (gross)
Full-time position (100%)
Initial contract until 15 September 2026
Possibility of continuing in a permanent 70% position afterwards
Work in a professional Italian kitchen with an established team
Support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process

🔧 Job tasks
Preparation of fresh pasta dishes
Cooking starters and antipasti
Preparation of main courses
Preparing salads and desserts
Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
Supporting kitchen operations during busy service periods
Pizza preparation experience is considered an advantage
🎯 What we are looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Italian restaurant
Good knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Reliable, organised, and team-oriented
English speaking is sufficient
Previous pizza-making experience is a plus

Working Hours: Primarily 13:00–22:00, including weekends
Accommodation: Not provided
Current Kitchen Team: 2 full-time employees and 1 part-time employee
