We are on the lookout for talented Automation Engineers interested in building a long-term career in Norway’s food processing industry.

Amploy is recruiting on behalf of leading food and industrial companies, with positions starting from mid-2026 onwards.

These are full-time roles, offering hybrid options depending on the project and location (mainly Rogaland and the Oslo region).

You will take part in automation projects focused on production efficiency, quality, and food safety, including:

  • PLC, SCADA, and robotics programming and commissioning for food manufacturing lines

  • Automation system design, testing, and optimization of packaging and process equipment

  • Integration of machinery and sensors ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards

  • Continuous improvement and data-driven process control

  • Collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and IT engineers in cross-functional teams


    ✅Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering

  • Experience in industrial automation within the food, beverage, or packaging sector

  • Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Beckhoff, or Allen-Bradley)

  • Familiarity with industrial communication (Profibus, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA)

  • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, or similar standards is an advantage

  • Analytical mindset and teamwork skills

  • English required; Norwegian is a plus

  • EU/EEA citizenship or valid right to work in Europe
